Dr. John Pierse and his team are dedicated to providing you and your family with the highest quality dental care for a life time of beautiful and healthy smiles. The ability to carry out simple dental treatments to the most complex full mouth makeovers is all made possible by our highly trained staff and by using the most advanced equipment and materials available in the dental profession today.

Dr. John Pierse

Dr Pierse keeps up to date on the latest advancements in modern dentistry through ‘continuing dental education’ courses and by using some of the most advanced dental equipment available on the market.

Dr Pierse graduated in 1999 from Dublin Dental Hospital, Trinity College. He then worked as a General Practitioner in Kent, England for 18 months and returned to this very practice on a part-time basis for the next 6 months. Dr Pierse then secured a full time position in a dental surgery in Navan and spent a very happy and fulfilling 14 years treating and building up great relationships with his patients in Navan and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Vidhya Gompa

Dr. Vidhya Gompa qualified as a dentist in 2005. He has been working in Pierse Dental since April 2014, he also works in a private practice in Dublin. Dr. Gompa has worked in the National maxillofacial unit, St. James' Hospital and Dublin Dental University for 3 years. He enjoys performing general, emergency and cosmetic dentistry with a keen interest in difficult extractions. Dentistry is Vidhya’s passion and he’s very good in treating anxious patients and patients of all ages. He is very committed to continued education programs and is a member of Irish Dental Association.

Helen Pierse- Registered Dental Nurse

Helen is John’s wife and is a relief nurse in the practice. Helen received her qualification in 2003 from the British Association of Dental Nursing.  Helen worked full-time as a dental nurse for many years and enjoys meeting the public and working as part of a team.

Aisling Wright- Registered Dental Nurse

Aisling joined the team in 2004. She is a registered dental nurse and received her qualification in 2008. As well as assisting chairside, Aisling works in conjunction with the team in the running and administration of the surgery on a daily basis. Aisling enjoys meeting and caring for patients, as their comfort, welfare and after care are her primary concern.

Claire Doggett- Registered Dental Nurse

Claire joined the practice in 2004. She received her qualification in 2008 from the British Association of Dental Nursing. Having worked in the dental field for over 10 years she has gained a broad range of experience in all aspects of dentistry.  Claire enjoys working chairside as well as ensuring the smooth day to day running of the practice.
